Brandesburton Art Prize Final Day

Event Details

  • Date:

We are now in the third year of the Brandesburton Art Prize and following on from the great success of previous competitions we are pleased to announce the launch of the 2019/20 competition. The theme for this year’s competition is:

‘Our World’

We would be delighted to receive craft entries based upon this theme. The craft could be anything from building a model, felting, creating a collage through to sewing or knitting; the choice of medium is yours!

When submitting your entry please mark with your name and which class you are in.

The entries will be judge in the following categories:

  • Foundation Stage
  • Key Stage 1
  • Key Stage 2
  • Overall Winner (to be selected from the winners of the above categories).
  • Just for fun: Adults.

The winner of each category will receive a prize and the overall winner will have their name engraved onto the Art Prize plaque, which will be loaned to the winner for two weeks.

The closing date for all entries is Friday 28th February, entries submitted after this date will not be entered into the competition. Last year, adults in school took part in a separate competition and this year we invite parents and guardians to participate; so if you are a budding crafter, feel free to submit an entry.

If you have any questions about the competition, please speak to Mr Mallison. We look forward to receiving your entries.
