A new term and a new year!

Together We Believe, Together We Achieve

In our assemblies we are focusing on our core school values of respect, responsibility and perseverance.

As part of our discussions we are thinking about manners, courtesy and friendship.  We have already talked about creating a happy, caring and co-operative school community that work together to nurture good citizens with strong moral values, attitudes and beliefs.  We have also recognised and celebrated individuality.

Over the coming term we will also be asking the children to think about how and when they have been resilient.  It is important for the children to recognise that they may not succeed first time but need to keep trying to get better in the classroom environment, on the sports field, playing musical instruments…. By being resilient we can learn from our mistakes and improve. If you notice a bit more resilience from your children at home, please do let us know.
