Vision / Ethos
Brandesburton Primary school was built as a community school in 1843 on behalf of the Lord Mayor and Aldermen of London. It is a beautiful grade 2 listed building, situated in lovely school grounds and is the oldest building still in use as a school in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Everyone at Brandesburton Primary is immensely proud of our school and we take great pride in the ethos we uphold. The ‘team’ at Brandesburton does a wonderful job of ensuring that every child continues to be independent, confident and happy and in turn, the children make our school a very special place and a pleasure to work in.
We are proud of the nurturing environment we provide, where each child’s curiosity and creativity are celebrated. Our dedicated staff work together to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful, ensuring that each student feels supported and inspired.
At Brandesburton Primary School, we place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships, fostering respect, and encouraging a love of learning that will last a lifetime. We work closely with our families and the wider community to ensure that our school is not only a place of education but a place where children feel safe, confident, and happy.
